I went to visit Peggy Pickering a few months ago. I had my little terrier Mojo with me and Peggy was delighted to meet her. Although Peggy has been well known for her cat portraits, exhibiting at national exhibitions, she rather likes painting dogs. So she suggested she take some photos of Mojo and would come up with a portrait. Well, the portrait surpassed my expectations. I am thrilled with it.
Peggy is happy to take commissions. If you have always fancied having a portrait of your four legged friend, this is such a great opportunity. At only £80 fully framed (the photo opposite is taken unframed), what a brilliant idea. Not only that but Peggy will donate 10% of that to Shepperton’s Purple Angels.
