The Capture Spelthorne Competition was a great success with lots of fantastic entries for all the categories. The overall standard of the competition was excellent.
The judging was by the Mayor of Spelthorne, Cllr Jean Pinkerton and the Chief Executive of Spelthorne Council, Daniel Mouawad.
We had such a high response from the under 16 category we decided to give a prize to the winner of each of the categories for the under 16’s as well.
Each under 16 category winner will receive a pair of tickets for the Pinewood / Shepperton Studios cinema and £50 and a copy of their picture printed in a local community publication.
Each adult category will receive a Shepperton Studios book “A Visual Celebration” and £50 and a copy of their picture printed in a local community publication.
The overall winners will receive a pair of tickets for the Pinewood / Shepperton Studios cinema, a Shepperton Studios book “A Visual Celebration” , £100 and Nigel Hedges will have a copy of his picture printed on the front cover of the Spelthorne Bulletin magazine.
The best 25 photos will be featured at an exhibition in the Elmsleigh Shopping Centre during the Summer.
