By the time this has printed, we will know who has been crowned Best in Spelthorne at the Spelthorne Business Awards 2023.
And of course the winners in the 17 categories will be admiring their trophies and feeling a huge sense of pride. Quite rightly too!
This competition run by Spelthorne Borough Council is a chance to have a look at the immense talent and innovation amongst businesses in the borough. Sunbury Matters is delighted to be a finalist in the Best in Sunbury/Halliford category. But we will see….There is some tough competition out there!
As well as the best in Village/Towns – the awards covering Sunbury, Shepperton, Ashford and Staines – others will celebrate best small business, best creative, best new start up, best overseas trader, best healthy business, best franchise, best sustainable business, best corporate social responsibility, best construction, best community provider, best retail excellence and best hospitality.
And of course, the final award, chosen by a panel of judges from amongst the winners of all 17 categories, will be for one absolute winner; The Best in Spelthorne. That award went last year to the Sunbury Ferry.
We have a lot to be proud of in our borough.
