Did you know that you can get a tree planted in your garden for only £40? Considering how long this gift would last, how sustainable and how much it would keep on giving, it is definitely worth a thought.
The Spelthorne Tree Wardens do an amazing job, not only supplying a fair-sized sapling of your choice, but also digging the hole and planting it for you. It could not be easier! I have had several planted by them over the years.
In this climate, when we need trees more than ever (and sadly are losing a lot too), let’s get planting for future generations.

Just one thing to be aware of, if you are wanting to look into the idea of having a tree planted on grass verges, you need to contact Surrey County Council (SCC). In fact, SCC have committed to facilitate the planting of 1.2million trees by 2030, one for every Surrey resident. Requests for tree planting are open for 2024. All they ask is that you commit to watering the new sapling for the first 3 years.
