There were cakes galore, and a good many samosas. All washed down with endless pots of tea and coffee and all served on beautiful vintage china. Chairs and tables were set out amongst the flower beds, at their very best with perfect roses. Parasols offered some much needed shade from the glorious sun-shine. It really was the perfect garden party.
Queen of the event was Sally Dick! She and husband Douglas were hosting a coffee morning to raise much needed funds for Alzheimer’s research. It was a great success with donations exceeding £550.
Sally and Douglas would like to thank the many friends (including a couple of 4 legged ones) who attended and helped raise much needed funds for such an important charity.
