Customised Local Prints

By Maxine Stinton

I’m a local Shepperton based art print designer and I feel really lucky to live in such a friendly place. The river is a particular inspiration of mine as I live on Hamhaugh Island.

Inspired by how our local community has pulled together this year and by all the wonderful things we have on our doorstep, I’ve designed some art prints entirely dedicated to Shepperton and its attributes. This year we are missing out on events like the fair, raft race and Big Tree Night so this is a way of re-membering why Shepperton is special. There are two Shep-perton designs and they are all printed on part-recycled paper using eco-friendly inks and packaged in biodegradable com-postable bags. It’s important to me that my products are en-vironmentally friendly, especially as my subject matter is the river and riverside towns.

The idea for the prints began as a conversation with a local friend about how to celebrate what we have and my first print was for Shepperton, but when friends from other river-side towns saw it, they requested their own versions. I real-ised that hometown pride and local love is stronger than ever in riverside towns along the Thames and beyond, which seems something well worth celebrating.

I can also customise and personalise designs. Do get in touch for special requests.

I sell my prints direct and have recently launched a new Etsy shop at:
