Princess Alice Hospice will be taking their very popular annual Dog Show to another level. This year, due to social distancing restrictions, the Pet Show will be an online event.
Come and join in the fun as owners and animal lovers submit pictures and video of their favourite furry friend or indeed scaly side-kick.
With categories such as Cutest Pet on Camera, Best Dressed Animal and Most Talented Pets there is something for everyone. We also have a Wildcard category, which covers anything not already in our list and an In Loving Memory category, so we can remember those pets who are no longer with us.
It is a known fact that owning a pet brings down blood pressure and improves general wellbeing. At the Hospice we recruit Pets As Therapy Dogs for that purpose so lets celebrate pets of all kinds and have some fun.
Partnerships Fundraiser for the Hospice, Rianna Pike said. ‘We are delighted to be taking our Pet Show online. We want to see lots of beautiful pets, big and small, old and young, past or present. Just enter them onto our Facebook event in one of our many categories (including those who have been making working at home interesting!) and see the likes rack up! All we ask is for a small donation to support our brave workers and the vital compassionate care they give to the people they look after at this difficult time.’
Anyone who wants to enter can do so here – www.pah.org.uk/petshow. It’s a quick and easy process. The hardest job will be getting your pet to sit still for the camera.
